Offroad Commasaires Needed

On the 13th Jan 2008, Cycling Ireland plans to run an Off Road Commissaires course, hopefully in the Dublin area.  Would any of MAD or IMBRC be interested.  Even if we could get one from each Club. Ask a few of your folk.

Cycling Ireland will hold a Mountain Bike Commissaires course this Sunday, 13th January, in  the Clarion Airport Hotel, Dublin.  The course will be run by world renowned International Commissaire, Colin Clewes.  In order to secure the future of MTB events in Ireland more MTB commissiares are required.  The course covers both Cross Country and Downhill events.
 
The course will begin at 10am and should finish around 4pm.  A few places are still available.  To book a place please contact Andy Potts

Yea would be great for the club to have its own commisaire, especially for running our events, such as xc, xcm, dh and cx races for next year.

Great stuff lads.... there is a severe shortage of mtb comasaires, so you are really helping the sport.

thanks gar.. just got the news today..test was quite tough..was really interesting day..learnt alot of stuff that we can use for the marathon champs and also downhill races ,cyclo cross and cross country .

uci  international commisaire colin clewes held the course and it was also organised by sean h of epic and mr paisley<andy potts>..so thanks to them

and of course had a great laugh with the legend richie byrne
