Best of luck to all, last day of antibiotics tomorrow. Improving slooowllly. Can't believe it's the last one: make every pedal stroke count. Go IMBRC.

The rain over the last week made the natural sections a bit of s muck fest, sketchy and a bit of a slog. Pity as the other 70% was fine.
Adam had to fight for his win for once, I think Jonhny and Paul were just off podiums. Did not hang around as I lasted less than 2 laps before a bent chainring tooth finished me.

Deadly race !...U just know your in the right sport when you enjoy a day like today like a pig in s*** . Under statement to say it was not too inviting to begin with as it was cold, wet and the course was really muddy after rain during week and a lot of the morning  ! Gave it socks and loved it....got a decent start but tentative in the slime at first.....took me 2 of the 4 laps to start trusting the mud ! Happy days after that ! didn't get my result but happy out as raced from start to finish !
Well done all IMBRC ers who made trip and raced

Speaking to  Paul..he got 3rd to clinch 2nd for series..(g8 moment before the steps on the 1st lap where Paul locked horns with a guy in order to get a good position...though they'd both come down but there was no backing off...proper aggressive XC racing at the right time....hats off ! )saw the local rider earlier take Adam on on last corner b4 the line but couldn't come round ! well done guys on today and yrs consistency and for all who raced the series throughout the year !
cheers Dave
