Another event making its return again this year

Just a few words on the course.....Its quite different to 2013...This year it will start and finish in Kilbrannish Woods - same place as our Leinster League XC races So no long tarmac drag at the start and finish...There will be a neutralised start for about 2k on tarmac road and then...singletrack heaven! The course is about 35k with about 1,300m of climbing. Most of that is in 4 climbs; consequently there are 4 long descents! With shorter singletrack climbs and descents in between.

Some of you know me - I'm a mid pack S3 rider of average fitness and ability (!) and it took me around 3 1/2 hrs yesterday. I can feel it today! The last 15 mins is solid technical descending, will leave you knackered at the end but with a big smile!

Hope to see a big IMBRC crew on the day!

Some of the best trails in Ireland in my opinion but now that I know them I don;t see the benefit in paying to ride them

I'll be there.

Any advice on bike to choose, 100mm XC or 120mm with dropper post?

Take the 120mm with dropper. Will make the decents much better.
