Really enjoyable weekend, absolutely delighted for PaulC to get his well deserved first Enduro podium. Really nice venue, trails were a nice mixture of rooty forest with trail centre stuff. I don't think it was nearly as well organised and the enduro series we have down here: Signage, marshalling etc - you also can't sign in any of your friends at registration which meant I had to tip around on my own as Scott, Matt & Aaron only registered on the Sunday and had a much later start time  :'( (No way I was keeping up with Paul yesterday with the from he's in). That said it was firsttracks first race so hats off to them. They actually had a hardtail, category which is a great idea.
Scott had a great race which got him a top ten, Matt was flying and I was meh but happy to get this one under the belt after my time out.

Roll on the Ticknock one in a fortnite.  :)

That's great Ian (saves me having to write a report...!) You were looking good on the bike and it's great to see you back Enduro racing.... It was a shame about the start times but sure what can you do.... hats off to Paul on a really convincing win by nearly 1.5 minutes (raising the bar in the senior man that's for sure) Matt myself and Aaron linked up with Darrell Callaghan at stage two (IMBRC member since last week) good event and a perfect opener to the season.

I think the lads have it well covered. Great weekend with great company. I kinda went into race mode on the climbs and left poor Jacko behind. Sorry bigman. :-* I felt great coming into it and just decided to keep the head down and keep it tidy. Worked out well and made very few mistakes. To say I'm over the moon would be an understatement! Thanks for all the support from the Club it means a lot. It was an extremely well run event and I personally enjoyed the trails especially the tight bits. Nice way to kick off the season after a bad run last year.

IMBRC, a great bunch of lads!
