2011 Club League Round Up

Well after 15 weeks the club league ends for another year. We had 119 riders take pake part over the 15 weeks 

Congrats to Craig Scarlett who is the IMBRC 2011 Club League Champion..! Its was a hard fought win and well deserved with consistent weekly performances.
Overall 2nd place was claimed by Davey Dunn at the last round with another good ride.
Overall 3rd place was shared by Sean Feeney & Stephen Pollock

The non-member trophy goes to James Travers who rode all 15 rounds and put in some solid preformances over the summer..!

Well done to all the podium winners and thanks to everyone who supported the league over the last 15 weeks.

The club league has been great this year with a lot of people turning up and making some great races,  I’d like to say thank you to Paul Barry for all the hard work he does in making the club league happen, sorting out start times, keeping spreadsheets and giving up his race to do time keeper.

Hopefully he can be persuaded to do it all again next year!!

Yes fair play to Paul for his enthusiasm and commitment to the League, you were the only one up there before me most weeks, gave up your race on many an occasion to do the Organisation and timing. Thanks Dude. I enjoyed a great League. And will enjoy going back to having a bit of craic on the midweek spins even more.

Yeah big thanks Paul for the hours that go into the start times and results etc.  The big turnouts were testement to the work gone into the course and the organisation.  Hope your arm can be twisted into doing it again next year!

Thanks Paul for all the work you done with the club league, It was my first ever club league and to make it even better I got 3rd  Well done to Craig on his well deserved win.. And Davey stealing my second place  haha and Steve who tied third with me  Thanks lad its been great racing.. See you's all next June after my leaving cert

I did.. Just back...fantastic biking in France..! Almost didnt make it, flight was closed and i had to do some sweet talking to get on the plane and run to the gate...just made it as they were closing up
