Best of luck to everyone racing Sunday and all the lads heading up tomorrow to meet up with the development squad.
Don't think I'll make it over :( looks like a great course.

Heavy rain all day. The track has seen better days
There are wide open fireroads, to features that will be walked tomorrow.
No heavy climbs. Just one long haul around.
Good luck to everyone racing tomorrow!
-
Best of luck lads

Any results?
-
Ya how did ye get on. I hear it was tuff
-
Very tuff racing today and very little IMBRC rides.
The juniors were savage as usual. I won't guess there results so wait til they reply.
Anto had a fifth In his first four laps of torture race.
Leo had a strong race in s3.. Top 20
Ger won the s3! Fair play..
And I came 5th in the s2's :)
-
Well done everyone....id say it was tough with the muck.!!
Savage win Ger.!! brilliant 8)
-
Well done all.
Ger, First race of the season and you win!! Savage
Sean thats a great result too, fair play man.
-
Well done Sean and Ger great results.
-
Well done all who raced today. That course was nuts. Well the first one third of the course was nuts because that's as far as I got b4 my attempt at Goober of the year award. Fell off on steep drop and dislocated collar bone from sholder !!
Thanks to Craig for sacrificing his race to drive me back to hospital in Dublin and Colm for bringing my bike back. Cheers lads.
Was looking forward to this years NPS races ! Not the best start. Will be back for round 3.
-
No way Joe...!! Thats very unlucky... Hope you're ok..?
-
Sounds lads!
Yeah Joe it seemed nasty at least it's not broken
Hopefully you'll be back In action soon
-
Get back on the bike soon Joe, glad to hear it is not a break.
I did not consider it a MTB course today as once it went uphill, I ran with the bike and was quicker than anyone trying to uphold the honour or mountain biking.
I think I passed more people running than cycling today.
The drops were covered in mud so unless you knew the lines it was a lottery. After hearing of your spill, Joe I was into the 'get me home mode and take no risks' mode. It was not a race I enjoyed and I feel like I was was the first of the survivers in s3 and not the winner!
Well done to everyone that took part, it was tough.
-
Ouch that's sore I hope you get better soon Joe I went to a good physio in Blanchardstown if you want details I went there when I did mine. Congratulations to everyone else great results
-
I think you just felt more at home in the conditions Ger...!! Just like CX :)
Well done Sean....great result in your first S2 race 8)

Well done all who raced....gutted for Joe and Craig but that's mtb racing...fair play for doing the honorable thing Craig...I had bad spill at nationals about 10 yrs bk and Dave Askin did same for me.
-
Never a dull moment... Unfortunate Joe, listen to your Physio & you'll be motoring again. Fair play to Craig.
Savage results to Sean & Ger on a sloppy course. Fair play to all who competed.
Great attendance.
-
Cheers lads. Back to Beaumont in morning to fracture clinic to see whats next. Keep ye posted.
-
Went to fracture clinic in Beaumont today. I have type 3 AC shoulder seperation. Basically collar bone and shoulder parted company completely tearing ligaments. Told to stay off MTB for 12 weeks >:(
Will get phisyo in few weeks to speed up recovery and hopefully get out on road bike in few weeks.
Any one want to buy an anthem 29er and a farm!
Only joking I'd never sell my bike :)

Lol,
Tough one Joe, Probably better to stick with the road bike until its well healed up. had a similar injury years back and lack of proper treatment on my part caused years of regular dislocations, ended up getting an op a few years back to finally fix it in place (fingers crossed it stays there).
Anyway heres to a timely recovery
