The Irish Mountain Bike Racing Club is one of Ireland’s longest running mountain bike clubs. The club was established in August of 1996 by a small group of like minded mountain bikers with the idea of creating a race specific club to compete at all levels of competition.

Currently there are approximately 70 members for which the majority regularly compete in disciplines such as XC, Enduro and Cyclocross.

The IMBRC run both an XC and Enduro league during the summer months and we encourage all members to part take. We also run a sprocket rocket course which is “geared” towards youth riders from the age of 4-8 and we have an ever increasing youth team who account for all riders up to junior level.

IMBRC were awarded the best NPS race of the 2011 & 2012 series as voted by Cycling Ireland members.
