August social spin !!THE GAP!!

Hi everyone.

The time has come to plan our next social spin and we think it would be a brilliant idea to have our spin in the new bike park "Thegap" in glencullen. There are lots of trails for everyone so it will be a blast!

They are taking bookings now so we will have to get numbers of who is going so we can book say a week or more in advance to secure are spots.

We are aiming to go from mid to end of August to give everyone enough time to plan. So the majority date will be chosen 2 weeks before we decide to go.

There will be more information closer to the time and a event will be made on Facebook if there's enough people interested.

There is a day pass or uplift pass so peddle up or grab the uplift it's up to you.

Two dates which may reduce numbers are the 12th and 13th of August due to the Cooley Thriller (12th Aug) and the BikePark Ireland MTB fest for kids (13th Aug).

The 19th is a gravity Enduro weekend (and I'm on holidays not that that would make a difference)

KMBC have informed  me they are having their summer social there the same day, so uplifts may be at a premium.


For me id be on for it, but the Dirty Dames enduro is on in ticknock the same day and i have been asked to do the timing

So i went there yesterday and it is a lovely set up they have nice trails

Well worth it - i didnt go for the uplift and just pedal up each time 10mins to get to the top hady enough to be honest

Dont for get to book on line if you coming along!
