Great day out yesterday for 10th edition of the Thriller.
There was a threat of rain early on but the sun truly shone shortly after.
Myself, Ger, Brian, Matt, and Milos (Someone give this man a jersey) were there from the club.

There were slight changes made to the route which meant the turnstyles we usually encounter early in the race were not used and this just changed everything, the difference not having to queue and deal with those things was fantastic.
There was actually a new bit of single track used and a road section to bypass these; Brilliant decision by organisers really hope its possible to keep this new route going in future.

Thoughts were with the McCabes during race, in memory of Gerry.

Yep, a great day out! Really enjoyed it in a punishing way. Sun shone and scenery is fantastic. I didn't get lost, I thought it was well marked out. When you're not at the front there is always someone to follow! :)

I definitely need to get more long spins before doing it next year.
