So that rules out the Canyon....you would crippled with return shipping costs
Giant have great warranty, no quibbles replecment etc
Anthem is prob the most popular bike in the club, the lads all seem to like them so Anthem owners are the ones to ask about them.... Another thing is Giant have come down in price alot lately so they are good value at the moment.

I've had two Giants have generally found them to be reliable and comfortable to ride, probably, the most important thing is how it feels to ride. I'm in the middle of buying yet another Giant at the moment. It's an all round good brand.

go for the giant trance it will make for a good allrounder. ask leo what he thinks of his new one.
120mm front and rear travel and slightly slacker head angle than the anthem.

Ok i went into Cycle Super store today and tried
the Trance and the X-flow
bought felt similar to cycle but the X-flow was alot better spec for about the same money
i tried the X-Control(straight out of the box) and it did not feel nice to cycle at all to rigid or something
Ill keep you posted on other bikes i try

Thats the thing missing from buying a bike online, you cant test it out first...
Who makes the x-flow..?
The trance has improved alot in the last few years and was quite heavy... but seems to be a nice all-mountain bike now.
Anthem is more racey and lighter but still a very good bike also.
