Hi Lads, what a great break 25 degrees and sunshine everyday. The course was run in the opposite direction this year and the savage granny ring climb was taken out. On Friday the feedback was that it was pretty easy with no difficult technical sections. By the time I got to ride around on Saturday evening the easy field decent was well cut up exposing rocks and leaving heaps of soft sandy soil of the main line. Climbing was still a big part of the course too. There were two big 5/7 minute climbs and also some savage kickers. I was still ok with my double ring thank god. It’s certainly worth a trip for the atmosphere, next year I’m doing the downhill so I can party on the Saturday night!
