LUNCHTIME CITY CYCLE WANTS YOU & YOUR COLLEAGUES TO TAKE PART IN THIS FREE, FUN EVENT

Hi there

I hope this e-mail finds you well. I am contacting you in relation to an upcoming event which I hope might be of interest to you and your colleagues.

The fourth annual Bike to Work Day Lunchtime City Cycle is taking place at 12.30pm on Wednesday 18th June next, starting from Grand Canal Square in Dublin's Docklands.  This Dublin City Council initiative, which is running as part of National Bike Week (14th-22nd June 2014), is inviting everyone working in and around Dublin city centre to take part in this fun, free, leisurely lunchtime cycle.

To add to the fun Bike to Work Lunchtime City Cycle participants can dress up and be in with a chance to win some amazing prizes for ‘Best Dressed Male/Female cyclist’ (prizes courtesy of The Marker Hotel) and ‘Fanciest Cycling Helmet’ (prize courtesy of Hat Society). The perfect way for your company team/group to get together and have some fun!

Cyclists, dublinbikes users and anyone interested can take part by simply registering for the event from today at lunchtimecycle.eventbrite.ie/.  With the first 500 people to register getting goodie bags brimming full of treats and everyone registering for the event put into a draw to win an Apple iPad mini! Groups entering together must state on the registration form which group they are a part of.

The leisurely 5km 30 minute cycle starts from Grand Canal Square in Dublin Docklands at 1pm sharp before setting off through the streets of Dublin, taking in a new route this year to pass some of the most impressive city landmarks.

There are numerous ways to keep in contact with the event for all the latest updates.  Become a Facebook fan of Bike to Work Day - www.facebook.com/dublinbiketowork or follow us on Twitter @LunchtimeCycle (#bikeDub) and keep up to date for all the latest event news.  Dublin’s 98FM are partners for the Lunchtime City Cycle and will be giving away an amazing bicycle on their Facebook page this week.

Please circulate information on this event to your employees and colleagues. I have attached a pdf of the event poster that you may be able to display inhouse.

Should you require further information please contact me on (01) 668 0600.

Thanking you in advance.

Kind regards

Kathryn
