The weather turned against us today with high winds and a deluge of rain.
Club members spent most of the morning at the course, which had been in good condition yesterday. Large amounts of standing water had formed on the flatter grass areas, with water running down parts of the single track. As there is to be no let up in the rain we have taken the regrettable decision to cancel round four. We feel that this is the most sensible course of action given the current state of the course, and the conditions for those driving to the event from further a field.
Thanks to all who had intended to support the event. We plan to run a Spring MTB league in the park in February/March. Hopefully rain gods will have tired by then and we will see you at the start line!
