Just got an email from Andy Potts.  For those who were worried, the race is definitely ON.  See you all in the morning.

I just got a text from Dave saying the race has been cancelled for saftey reasons..!!

Yeah seems they were optomistic this morning, got another mail from Banbridge, the race is definately off.  Hopefully they can reschedule although not next weekend, I think there is something on.

Pity, was the last race of the season. Hopefully the marathon champs will be a bit dryer.

Andy Potts was on to me, they plan to try to run it before the end of September. 

I think they really tried to run it.  He said they were up taping the course on Saturday but the weather was nuts.  All the downhills had rivers running down them and a car was under water at the exit to Castlewellan itself.

sounds cool...haha..it wud hav been a boat race instead of a mtb race...
