Fair play to the few lads doing if for the first time..!

Robin is the man to beat..! Doesnt matter what bike you put him on, he will still be on the top step at the end.. Some talent.!

Great day out as usual.
Felt harder this year probably because I had a single ring set up but overall went ok and felt good enough.  The weather didn't look great on the way up and before starting the mountains were covered.  Visibility wasn't great at the mast but soon cleared, it even brightened up after - I had no rain at all the whole time I was on the bike.
Was in a group of 6 until the mast but it broke up a bit after that so twas a bit harder to pace.  Happy enough with how I finished - moved up a few places from last year to get 7th overall and 2nd masters also managed to do it faster than last year.  The hot shower and curry after hit the spot.
Everyone I spoke to from the club enjoyed the day and there was no disaster stories.
Thanks to Dave Askin for the lift up and Colm who got me back to Drogheda for the few scoops after.
