Not sure we need a new section for this discipline. Hopefully more events like this.

Dust off your CX👍.

Brutally awesome. Eventual M30 podium was sorted on the first fire road climb. They rocked up it as if it was 24km NPS! I stuck to a new plan with 75km to ride, go off easy (keeping legs for upcoming champ title challenge!).  Weather was perfect on first lap with great tale winds on open singletrack.  Weather changed for second lap as did motivation. Heavy rain on higher ground with dropping temperatures stiffened the body. Wanted to get the bike around 40km, gobbled some caffeine gels and found some motivation. The dreaded HODOR not so bad second time round, had one steady speed all day left me in 13th. Happy with result.

Probably the best trail centre I've ridden in Ireland.  Really great day out but it was brutal.  Thanks to the organisers and folk who gave their time .

Best of luck to all, last day of antibiotics tomorrow. Improving slooowllly. Can't believe it's the last one: make every pedal stroke count. Go IMBRC.

Best of luck to all. Go IMBRC.

Cheers Paul.  Waiting all my life for racing like that. Great to be gridded and managed to hit top 10 into first singletrack section pushed on with Ronan (Giant), gained a bit of time on second lap but he came back smooth and rode 'the drop' on last lap to push out a slight gap which I could not bridge.

Winning 2014 club champs gave me a nudge to push that bit harder & represent title. Great stable lap times.  Found rock garden before switchback disasterous; all over the shop; dab dab dab  :-[

Time to review season goals and push for podium.  Roll on home soil venue at Ticknock.

Great club turnout & craic.

Great road trip, racing and stunning venue. Considering all the rain that's fallen 98% rideable. 40% singletrack.  I would think quiet a tame course compared to Djouce but that changes when racing flatout.  MTB finally got a Zoncolan, a true Jim Haide specialist climb that just kidded really hard: a wet kinda sandy fire road, just hugged the tire with too much TLC.

I wasn't gridded and pushed hard at the start, good 2 laps but dropped places on third and happy with fourth: finished empty.  Thanks to Adam for doing bottles.

Great performances from Adam 1st, Paul 4th, Jim 8th who was entangled by a crash just after the start.

Bike wash and shower after race  8)

Post race meal in supermacs with Strawberry milkshake  :).

Long day and would return for another.

Looking for lift on race day & returning same day, split fuel (would be cheaper for me to fly with bike and rent a car in Galway than drive Starlet down  :D).
