Yeah well done to everyone that made the effort to race! Making me feel very lazy! Great result for you James! Just remind me not to go on one of your spins in the future if you say the pace will be slow and steady!! That obviously means flat out for 60km with no stops for chat!!

That actually sounds easier than the hellfire races! At least the running is pretty flat! Think I might give it a shot! I can just imagine all the triathletes in there one piece suits zipping by me now.....nothing that an elbow and a stick in there spokes can't sort out though!! Just kiddin (kinda)!

Yeah well dont to everyone that done the race yesterday! Have to say I kinda liked that course, wasnt my all time favourite now but defo wasnt the worst course ever. I just made the mistake of bringing the wrong bike....should have brought the full suss! My legs were so tired from having to stand up out of the saddle for so long!
When I got home my back wheel was flat on my bike.....so I could have easily being a DNF!

Rd.2 on tomorrow for anyone who fancies the spin, motorway pretty much the whole way. We travelled up last night, roads are pretty good.

So we took part in Round 1 of this year's Dromara Trail Quest, finished joint 3rd on the day, but 1st mixed pair.
They were surprised to see IMBRC up there, we wanted to show off the new club gear so we had to go.
Good spin around, finding the markers keeps it interesting, recommend it for a Sunday spin.

Yeah and I won Sports ladies with an impressive time of 3.55.....never actually realised I was that fast before! Oh wait Im not....unfortunately that is not me (or maybe there is another Rose Griffin out there), but there was just a very small, barely noticable difference in that time and my own though, just plus another 1hr 35mins!!
But was a good day out none the less......glad I done it....and didnt die! Just kiddin, it was great.
Well done to everyone else that took part too!
