Nice one lads..
We didnt fins out the race was 140km long till 9 o clock in the morning of the race ha. Funny.
What a race. Just savage. We averaged 41km/h for the first 100km or so. We did 140km in 3hrs 59mins. I stopped for a pee just at the bottom of the Shay Elliot climb and lost the group. That was with about 110km done. I rode by myself back to roundwood and then met up with James. Unbelievable race, soo well organised and it was just a good race to do. Not one I'd recommend for your first road race though. All through the day I'd have a guess that we did about 155km all in. I hear the 3rd cat races are a tad dodgy but this was very safe. No crashes or anything. We are gonna do another one next weekend. Preferably a little less than 140km! ha
Cheers,
Squeak ;)

Myself and James completed the 2nd of our crazy road spins today...5.5hrs to Arklow and back. 152km.
Savage day...nice n steady and very long. We were saying it would be good to get soem of the other cronies out on a logn road spin with us some weekend there is no race on. Great training, great prep for the mtb races, really bring your fitness on!

What a day savage spin. These are spins are great for the endurance. Arklow was a bit OTT, we'll plan something at little less insane!
