I'll be there.  Not sure what I'm riding yet.  Probably be the new race bike if it arrives but I do have a rather nice big travel Cannondale Rise at the moment which could be pretty sweet.

What is this all about..?

What is what all about ? ... the fact that Korny has a new baby and then sneaks off to GC to do a Marathon and doesn't tell anyone (at least the forum !!) ... or what bike everyone is riding ... or would like to ride ... or couldn't ride (my Dawes because it would disintegrate under me  ;D )

Moment of Madness over !

Folks, would love to have had that result but unfortunately I (along with half the riders by the conversations had) missed out on some of the track !  From a link on the mtbireland.com forum to a GPS map, everyone that did, would need to add about 15mins onto their times  :-\
That being the case, may just have scraped home in front of a very brusied and battered Luke ... great day regardless  ;D

I reckon 15 minutes is about right.  I rode the full course and it was a climb to the 2nd carpark and a longish piece of singletrack incluing an off camber piece around the lake edge.

Amazing trails, great day and what about the weather!  Really looking forward to racing now and especially the K-Cup semi-marathon series.  With trails like this it will be deadly!

Suffered last night for it though.  The lungs were in bits.  Coughing up blood by bedtime.  Hardcore!

We Lads,

Taking a few sneeky lines juring the race I see,

I'm most shocked to hear Mark was at this!! ( taking a leaf out of my book)  ;)

Sorry I missed the race, and I'll see you in Kerry at the weekend
