For those not on FB....Unfortunately I had a low speed slip during the first stage on Sunday resulting in my thumb getting damaged (known as skiers thumb) it swelled up so I had to go to A&E and now have undergone plastic surgery on my hand to reattach my Ligament via an implantable bone anchor on my thumb..... Pissed off indeed as MTB now for me is 3-4 months away..
On the positive I claimed 5th place in vets and now Jimmy has a timer for nearly all the club league.

Damn! Terrible news for you. Now that the damage is done, here's hoping the recovery goes to plan. BTW that left thumb in that pic doesn't look great either......!
