Just a few words on the course.....Its quite different to 2013...This year it will start and finish in Kilbrannish Woods - same place as our Leinster League XC races So no long tarmac drag at the start and finish...There will be a neutralised start for about 2k on tarmac road and then...singletrack heaven! The course is about 35k with about 1,300m of climbing. Most of that is in 4 climbs; consequently there are 4 long descents! With shorter singletrack climbs and descents in between.

Some of you know me - I'm a mid pack S3 rider of average fitness and ability (!) and it took me around 3 1/2 hrs yesterday. I can feel it today! The last 15 mins is solid technical descending, will leave you knackered at the end but with a big smile!

Hope to see a big IMBRC crew on the day!

40km, thats pretty much the majority of the trails they have out there. A really nice day out on the bike lads, great trails.

Some of the best trails in Ireland in my opinion but now that I know them I don;t see the benefit in paying to ride them

I'll be there.

Any advice on bike to choose, 100mm XC or 120mm with dropper post?

Take the 120mm with dropper. Will make the decents much better.

Great day out. Very well organised and they always get triple the amount of helpers to any other event.

Some sweet single track and alot of hardship fireroad climbs. I even got to catch and whip chopper 20k after last seeing him  ;) Sorry chopper  :-*

Micko, leo, chopper, ger, adam, joe and myself were down (thats all i seen anyway)

Spot on Jimmy, even if I was questioning your words of wisdom on the first climb  ;)

Trails were running well, slippery in some of the woods but everything was marked and sign posted.
Only point I got confused was passing the second feed station for the second time, but that turned out to be part of the route.

Very well organised and the coffee at the end was the best I have had in a long long time  :)

Shorter and more technical than the Da Cooley, definitely recommend it.

Well done lads Mount Leinster is probably one of my favorite spots in the country, actually will be down there in two weeks if anyone is interested. Less Climbs more Gnarr  :P
