Hey lads,
Just reading the PDF the organizers sent out. Will be my first enduro event. Is everyone planning to stick together and learn the tracks or.....?
"Riders can select their wave on a first come first served basis at registration
on Saturday and again on Sunday morning. Each rider may select a wave
for a maximum of 5 friends or team mates."
-
Yeah you should hook up with some of the lads Hans and get in a group of five, they usually post about it to organise.
I'm not entered to this one but maybe Scott or Paul will post details of where and when to meet
-
Hi lads I'm gonna be up there for ten, will be signing on for Pete, John Kelly, Matt and Aaron. I'll be tipping around all 5 stages tomorrow at a very handy pace.

Chopper?? John Connolly?? am I missing anyone?
Anyway ill be there first thing, my mobile is 0876833507. We should be able to get two waves going together if there is anyone else.

Rough day for the bikes today lads, how did you get on?
I see Paul C and Gary both got 2nd in their category's
Well done lads brilliant results
How did the rest of you get on?
-
Yeah it was a deadly day. Cold and wet, really slippery! I had trouble with goggles fogging up on stage 1 came off about 4 times riding blind, eventually had to stop and take them off...then I could see where I was going! Had minor stumbles on stages 2 and 4.
I need to learn to slow down a little and stay on the bike! Came 19th in my category so happy enough. Lots of room for improvement though.
-
Well done guys...! great results in difficult conditions.

Hard luck Scott, Looks like you were getting fourth!
And new member Marcus Swail finished top ten. Brilliant stuff
Lucky Thurrrteeeeen for Pete :D

Savage stuff by Paul & Gary today, really close battle between Paul and the next three riders, could have gone to any of them. What happened to Scott and what does 5.00 manual adjustment mean??
Well done to to everyone for getting through that today, you're all savages >:(

Tough conditions today, completely different with a bit of rain. Didn't look like Id make it out at all today, went over the bars yesterday at practice on stage 2, sprained my wrist but some nurofen plus and a bowl of hdfu this morning sorted me out :). Stages 1 and 4 were really shlompy, I struggled to control the bike, in the end I was just happy to finish all the stages. Super racing from all the lads, great to see a couple of podiums for the club again. Rode around with Pete who was flying and John Kelly, eventually tied up with Matt, Gary and Aaron. Was great craic as usual, for anybody who hasn't done an enduro yet get the finger out, ye don't know what you're missing.
Special mention to Scott who Wudve been 5th only for his controversial penalty.....
