Title: Da Cooley Thriller 2014 -Sat 16th Aug
Post by: Paul on August 05, 2014, 04:45:21 PM: ‘Da Cooley Thriller’ is about to peddle off once more on Saturday 16th, August 2014. Set in the Cooley Mountains just outside Carlingford, Co. Louth the route, approx. 52km, will take riders on a complete traverse of the Cooley Mountains, taking in some of the Táin Trail and forest tracks to some roller coaster natural single trails once navigated by the bold Cuchulainn himself. Starting in the village with a mass start

Great company with Paul Caldwell for most of it, you were flying and unlucky to puncture on final descent. If you attempt to enter anything lower than s2 next yr you're getting a kick in the arse

Just proves what bull thickness and ignorance can do. Chuffed at the result and to stick with Jim for a part of it. Puncture on the decent was annoying and would have had 2nd but what can you do. No banging was involved in this one anyway :-)
