Is it worth the money going tubeless ? What are the advantages apart from weight and punctures ?

Looking into it and its €70 for the tubeless kit and then approx. another €50 for tyres.

Best upgrade you will ever get. Say goodbye to punctures and pinch flats. You can run lower pressure in tyres which will increase grip. Don't bother with that tubeless kit, you can get stans rim tape, 2 valves and sealant for 48e on crc. I have some used but in good condition tubeless ready tyres if your interested.

Forget all that messing about with kits....just get proper UST rims.!

Overated in general and the kit is hassle, you have to start carrying around rim tapes in case you get a puncture.

If you have 'tubless ready rims' the rim tape (thin yellow stuff) is a once off fix (unless you snap a spoke in the nipple) the rims need a shoulder to allow the bead of the tyre to sit on,
I've found stans great since I converted over (after two punctures destroyed my Djouce Enduro)

The yellow rim tape is s**te hence people who have had problems, get the rubber rim strips stans Joe flats and dt Swiss do them. They were for me perfect before I got Ust rims

Its not the yellow tape thats s**t,its the people putting it on :P
When its done right,its much better than the rim strips, cos if you get a puncture, the manky rim strip has to come out,with the yellow tape,the valve just has to come out.
If you're not sure how to fit it,bring it to your lbs and not Jimmy ha ha ha ;)

I wasn't offering ha ha but one problem with the yellow strip is that you don't get the ridge you do with the rubber ones for the bead to catch and seal

As i said lads, cut out all the s**t and messing and just get UST rims.! ;D
