I use 11-34t, bit i have a traditional triple ring set up. You would want the 11-36 if running a double or single front ring

I have triple on front too, but mostly using small and middle ring.  Is 34t for speed and 36t for more climbing ?

If you have a granny ring then you don't need the 36t

There is not much of a difference in them.
I find with a 36 I can stay in the middle ring longer with less gear changing.

Feck All difference
11-13-15-17-19-21-23-26-30-34
11-13-15-17-19-21-24-28-32-36

If you struggle with the above there is the below option,
12-13-15-17-19-22-25-28-32-36
Or you could HFTU  :D
