So the final round has come and we have lost our number one rider Sean Glynn >:( >:( >:( >:(.
He is currently in third position overall however this injury and missing the final round may costs him.
Bad luck Sean as we all know you would have ripped it up with at least a podium finish and we hope you get back on bike soon.
Pressure now falls on Scott Barcley who is in flying form as could be seen in our league on Tuesday night. He has moved into 9th position in the overall rankings and seing as Djouce is like home turf for him there is a real possibility of a podium finish.
So who is racing this weekend. I know Jacko is out as going to some poxy wedding in Spain (talk about priorities). Pete/John/Macker/James/Gary/Orla/Lako ? Anybody else. Id say it will be tight and greasy just the way I like it :D
Ill be there ready to rip, sorted out the chain drop as it was too long so took a few more links out and the bike is perfect now :)
(Famous last words)

Sickener for poor Sean. The rules dictate that you have to score points in the final round to be considered for the series overall. He'd surely be in the hunt otherwise. He'll just have to get better and win the damn thing next year!
I'll be up shooting on Saturday morning and all day Sunday, so put in yer good teeth!
-
I'm heading down Saturday and Sunday , what's the story with doing it as a group ?
-
Hey Rob that's the point of the post so we can all arrange to meet up at whatever time and place.
I heard a rumour Colt Seavers was making a triumphant return to the world of Enduro and got a pass for this weekend :P, Think Pete won't be round till Sunday and same with Scott who has gone and joined the pros so won't be riding with us anyway :'(, Orla might be in same boat Im not sure. Anyway ill post up what times ill around be around and same with yourself and those who wanna ride together and we can sort something out
-
Great stuff Jimmy. I'm not to bothered with times etc so ill tag along any time.
-
OK anyway i plan to be down there for about 10 tomorrow id say, registration is usually about 10.30 and Id like to get in early and get us an early start time as timekeeping isnt exactly the best in this club :P. If anyone wants me to stick their name down please post. I will probably have to put down two names for friends of mine from home so that will leave me with 4 other names to put down. First come first served and sure if anyone else is with me then they can stick down any other names. Has anybody received welcome pack yet ? I still havent got mine and they usually come out earlier in the week

Great racing today. All home intact and full of the joys.
Pete and jimmy went head to head on every stage followed buy myself rob and Jimmy's 2 mates.
No slomp but the roots were wicked slippy.
I ran out of steam on the way up to stage 5 and started hocking my guts up. Fair play to rob for waiting for me.
Got it back together and headed off again.
Stage 6 was a great little dash back to the start area.
Well done to all gang form the club giving it there all.
-
For me what made it was having Colt back roaring shouting and dancing your some gas bastard and it was great having you back. Thanks to all it was great craic the weather held out and trails were fun fun fun except when your chain breaks and you can see Pete lashing down after you :P. Pity about not winning the forks but Ben must be snapping after winning the bike and not being there to claim it , bad luck lad i hope it comes to you in another way

Wasn't my day. Never really felt on form all day, had very little sleep after a busy week and just couldn't turn the legs. Add in a big crash on Stage 1 and I'll be limping for a few days. Had a contender for dismount of the year on Stage 5 but sure all well that ends well, Superman might have some competition though.
Having said all that, what a day, loved the course, rode stages 4-6 blind but had a great laugh, rode everything too which I was well happy about. As to the Trek...... nuff said. I believe I wasn't the only one though.
Now to get it all back on track for the Bluegrass in 2 weeks! Who's going?
-
Really enjoyed that, don't know why I left it so long to get on the enduro buzz.
Wrecked today but still buzzin.

Well done lads pity about them rules after racing hard all season missing the final means you don't count :(
On the up side I'm getting a bit better back is still very stiff shoulder will be better in 5 /6 weeks. Not doing djoust means I don't move up to the pros where I'd be near the bottom of the field racing young lads ill be racing in the 35/39 cat and was in the top 5 looking at the times there. Looking forward to next year and being the young lad in the ould boys club braced up with bungies and duct tape:) see yiz next week for the enduro final in slade
