XC Nationals – Rules update!
The XC Nationals are only a few weeks away and we would like to clarify a few rules regarding One Day Licenses:
You are NOT allowed to enter or register for a National Championship event under a One Day License.
You are NOT allowed to enter or register for a National Championship event if you do not have an IRL UCI code designation on your license.
(The UCI Code definitively advises a riders Nationality as submitted to the national federation).
A rider can change their UCI code, eg; GER to IRL, anytime during the year, providing passport proof is submitted and verified by CI, but, that rider will not be eligible to win a medal in a National Championships until the following year.
For further information please see Cycling Ireland Technical Rules 2013 (http://www.cyclingireland.ie/Key-Documents/Technical/Technical-Rules-2013.aspx)

Bring home the Gold.! ;)

The course is great, a good mix of stuff with a couple of nice bombholes and small jumps!
If travelling up head for belfast then take the M2 to the end at Randlestown then A6 to Maghera and then 829 to Coleraine, Garvagh is about 10km short of coleraine, its about an hour shorter than route via Armagh ( it should take 2hrs to 2.5hrs depending on traffic via belfast)
And good luck to everyone racing tomorrow! :)

Yeah good racing from everyone in the club!
The youths always seem to pull it out of the bag, savage results
We even had a strong crew in the masters
I had five laps of pain but at least I know what to expect for S1 next year!
Happy with the 3rd place
That's the end of my XC racing until the club champs ;)
