Post by: Ger on June 23, 2013, 09:12:02 PM: Tough and slippery course today. Lots of single track and very little fire road, pity about the rain, I think it stopped a few of the sections from being fast and flowing.

Great results for Jim Haide 2nd and Sean Feeney 5th in S2 and Ger getting 4th in S3.
John Smithers 4th in U16 and looks like a good battle in U14 with John Quinn 3rd and Adam McGarr only 2seconds behind!!

And well done Paul keeping up his 100% record of not doing a single race all year!! :P

Leo had a good race with his best result in s3 yet. Jim had a super ride for a strong 2nd and the young lads done deadly as usual!
I didn't have the best race didn't really get into it until the last lap. Happy enough with my result, so I hope for a good over all..

That start was mental don't know how many times I nearly came off with all the elbows and shouldering - not for the faint hearted - all twas missing was headbutting like Renshaw in 2010 tour >:( after that it was a real battle through the muddy sections but I handled it better as the race went on or else it was dispersing. Happy to come away with 2nd.
