Id advise anyone doing this to bring a spare mech hanger just in case.! I was in for a long walk back from Da Cooley last year only for a kind chap lent me a universal hanger which got me going again :)
-
Good tip will pick one up today then
-
I think i may head down....if i can get up at the crack of dawn
-
Good man Paul I knew the sunshine would bring you out :)
Your the ultimate fair weather biker and you won't get much better than tomorrow

Great day out on the bike, really enjoyed that (mostly) ;) Some really nice bits of single track... Nailled Paradise at the end as i knew it and flew by 6 or 7 riders on that...it was the highlight of the day for me ;) Mind you, i was never that fond of it in the preivous races, prob because it was at the end of a durty big climb and i was fooked :)
Spent most of the day either on my own, or with Mick, sometimes Duffer or with Eric and Alan from Mad... Thanks Trev for picking up my number as i arrived in timely fashion 10 mins before the off.! Plenty of time ;)
Well done to everyone from the club, there were a good few of you down but all spread out..!
finally, thanks to Dave and the 795 gang for putting on a great event, very well organised with brilliant marshals.!!

Yep savage day and to see our fearless leader back on the bike today just made it something special :P
-
Mt Leinster had a bit of everything, most of all we had a nice dry warm day..They don't happen on our little island to often..
They really love there climbing in Racing 795,some killer hills but well rewarded with flowey single trail and natural tracks..
spent a lot of it with jimmy the cute cork boyo till my calf eventually seized up about 1k from the end.. :-[
One of the most fun days I've had on the bike in a long time.. 8).
Well done to all the blue team for completing the challenge, especially big boss man and duff man with his belly full of beer and kabab from the night b4 ;)
