Whos going - what is the plan for the weekend ?

I'm booked :) and going to head down the Sat morning. My uncle lives in Kilfinan (10 mins from trail head) he can put us up for the night but Id suggest bringing a sleeping bag.
He is a bachelor in his late 50s that lives on a farm so I wouldn't be expecting the four seasons kind of accommodation if you know what I mean but its a roof for the night.

Think Scott said he wants in also. There is one or two beds alright but sure Im sure he would be grand if we had more and brought sleeping bags.
Just let me know as soon as possible so I can give him the heads up

Yep I am paid up but can't post on Facebook as haven't broken the news (re the whole weekend)...! Bring it on..
-
I'm booked too. Less than 100 places left. I'll probably just head down the Sunday morning.

Good luck to everyone racing in the Enduro this weekend, hope the weather stays good for you.

Myself and Scott are heading down early on Sunday morning, We'll have to register that morning so will be there around 9ish, shall we all meet up around ten??
-
Did anyone read the new starting order's...? Its a complicated fix to try to cut out the queuing. I'll digest it in the van while Ian's driving, Thanks again Ian.... ;D

Rnd 2 went good for me got 23rd overall and 5th in cat30/34 stage 1 didn't like me clocking in and lost a few seconds with Niall Davis giving me the punch don't swipe talk:) went over the bars just after the slomp on top of two. stage three went smoothish stage 4 I turned right half way down wasn't marked great and a rider held me up through the forest chain came off twice but put it back on while riding stage five was brilliant at the top I left a two minute gap and caught two riders that I had to pass on the grass down the fastest section.very hard to get 5 flawless stages test of man and machine:) More good news came my way today I'm riding with Team Giant Dublin so ill be looking to pick up some of antos xc skills:) BIG thanks to Richie Byrne and the main man himself Paul Barry two toppers of the mtb world that always point you in the right direction even if they look at you a bit funny.ill have to cut the jerseys in half and get me Ma to throw a stitch on them.
Thanks again for all the support "GO IMBRC and Team Giant Dublin"

Nice one great result there Sean that's some going. Scott got some fierce times also as did big Ian on the new stead. Jonner seemed to have a ball also and did great for his first enduro. Lako did great times but for some reason its hasn't shown on results or am I missing it ? Great to see Orla back on the bike also, we had great crew out although my times had a lot to be desired but ill make up for that in ticknok :)

Well done Glynner..! Sounds like you had time to spare.!
Great stuff lads....seem like there was a good few of you going well..! 8)
-
Great weekend lads really enjoyed it. Congratulations Glynner, well deserved, who is Ritchie gonna poach next??? :P
-
The more poaching the better I'd say! Makes for cheap racing and fancy bikes something every rider wants. I look at it as imbrc producing good riders that others want to learn from:) better not handicap me to much Tommorow I'm still s**te at xc racing except for the downhilly bits I like them;) oh yes Paul when's the next track building day and where's jump going on the track :P
-
Too much of this poaching lark going on if you ask me..!! Diluting the blue jersey..!!
Maybe this week.....wed, fri or sat

Nice wheelie Scott ;D

The terrain was a mixture of the purpose built Coillte single track and the best of the natural and club built trails in region. The queen stage was undoubtedly Stage 5, over 3.5km long with a vertical height drop of over 1000ft! This video will certainly make you want to get out and ride your bike.</p>[/embed]
