Glen came second in s3. I had probably my best race this year. Not sure where I finished
Jim hayde and Dave askin had a good race but not sure where theyfinished
The track was great with some savage hard climbs and really fast decents and best of all it was bone dry

Big thanks to mbcc for a great days racing and the soup and sambos top it all off

Great race today, nice dusty trails and sunshine ;D! Fair play to the lads at MBCC they put in a lot of work and organisation the course was savage, tough climbs followed by massive roots and a super quick decent, Soup and sambos for afters too. Well worth the trip down  :)

Legs worked well. Gave me left knee a slap off the shifters on the warm up lap
Ice pack on it now. Forgot to mention earlier that Laco was racing aswell today.
I think he retired with back pain.

Savage course, possibly the best so far.  If you were to mash up 'Djouce & Kindlestown' you'd get traction woods  8)

Delighted it was dry, tree roots like tentacles of an octopus.  Ecstatic I was on a full sus.

Showed some consistency at last.

Watched Glen's dust settle on fire road climb starting lap 3, fair play.  Great result.

Wud watch the weather next year,  would be a V tricky course in the wet, not a tight course so 29er would role easy, bring your full sus.

Traveling down was easy, 2 and a half hour drive from Talifornia.

That was some course as Dave Askin said after the prelap it's like Djouce on steroids.  It had everything loads of roots, super fast sections, switchback climbs.

Pity there wasn't more from IMBRC there cos ye would of loved it.

Well done to Glen he was flying, passed me just as he was crossing the line getting 2nd in S3
