Great trails, well organised race.

Yeah, great course and very well organised. Fair play to them there was a savage amount of work put into building the boardwalks an stuff, an great weather to boot.

So where do i start....i know.. The juniors :) The young lads led the way again this week with David, Adam, Johnny and Sean picking up podiums...!! Great races from Ryan, Arron and Anto..!! John had a problem and had to pull out..! Poor Anto missed the start so had to play catch up...Chin up bud, your flying at the moment so it will all come good soon..!! ;)
On to the seniors.... Rose in her first S1 race got 3rd, james got 5th place podium (they sometimes place up to 5th in S1 races)
As for Glen...Well i think hes still in shock....After signing up in S4 for his first ever race and getting some slagging and told to cop on by the lads :D he switched to S3 and ended up finishing in 2nd place... So well done to glen ;)
Some fine races by colm, craig and joe in S2, the Greg, Aido, Laco, corney and the Man in Black in S3... Dont think we had any S4's.... Have i forgot anyone..???
As for my race....well, lets just say it was short..!!
-
You got further than me Paul, went on my snot on my practice lap and did my knee in :'(
I left with my jocks intact though :P

I think we managed to rival epic with podiums considering they had double the amount of us! Great going lads :)
as for my race.. first two laps were going good until I snot myself and pulled the calf of myself leaving the last two fairly unpleasant to say the least!
The only thing willing me on was the fact how deadly the course was.. Glad to finish it thou.
As a matter of interest who actually managed to stay upright today? :D

Big thanks to Johnnie for doing bottles, unfortunately I didn't need him..
I had mechanical on lap 2, rear derailleur would not shift. Tried manually slacking but it but in the heat of the moment I pulled inner cable back through outer causing it to fray, couldn't re-fed >:( >:( >:(.
Great turn out from club and well done to all.
Hats off to course designer and builders. Phenomenal course 8).
Roll on next wkend.. it's all about recovering.
