"Da Cooley Thriller" is on this Saturday 20th August
52k Marathon race, sign on is at the Foy center in Carlingford.

This is always a good race, anyone else going?

Another fantastic race from Cuchulainn C.C. Cracking weather and superb trails. A great turnout from the club with Piaras getting second in juinors and the two Mick's picking up podiums, also Cian picking up third in U16.

What a day what a race, a climbing heaven. Our blue jerseys were out in force today.Well done to our podiumers.

I punctured at the start, didnt know i could put a tube into a tubeless :-[ so didnt have anything with me, luckily Aidan stopped and sorted me out thanks a mill Aidan i taught my race was finished. I crashed as soon as i got going lost about 10 mins altogether  :'( and was well behind the last riders but caught back up and  had no more mishaps. Finished 3hrs 50min top 20 in masters so Im well chuffed.

No problem Greg. Glad I could help. Had a good day myself, found the climbs hard and plenty of them.
Finished just under the 5 hours (4.59) very pleased with that.
Very well organised race and a great turn out.
