The last NPS race of 2011 is on in Castlewellan this Sunday 14th August

How long will it take to get there ?

I'm going to try to be there around 10.30

Aim to leave at 8.30, 2hours is plenty of time to get there and get a coffee on the way.  :)

Heading up with Jim Saves bringing two cars, meeting up with the rest of the lads up there.

That was some days racing. Track was great lots of single track.
Some tough climbs killed me. By the end of lap two my legs had given up on me.
Thanks to all the encouragement from Eric Leo and the gang. I keep going and managed to complete the last lap. Feeling it today, legs are like ???

Fantastic course, some great little technical decents and some horrible climbs. I had a battle with a thorn bush on the first lap which left me looking like i had been bet with some barbed wire, it felt that way too. Other than that great day out really enjoyed the course underage course was super technical too and all the lads hammered it not a bother. A great turnout form the club.

Super course enjoyed riding it, unfortunately my tyre didn't last :(

I had two crashes on the first lap one with a thorn bush too, leg got shredded,I have scars on top of scars now a true sign im a s**te mtb'er  :-[
I dont know where it went wrong after that, lost a lot of places and found it very hard to to reel them back, dragged myself into 17th pos.

8th place overall in the league  ;)

maybe I'll move up to S2 will have to see now.
