Hope its not the slomp fest it was last year! ::)

If it stays dry it will be fast and deadly. If it rains next week it will be a mess again, you just spin on the climbs in the wet, I went round recently and they have put a layer of gravel on most of the single track which made it a little loose and soft, its probably set in by now,
the Jump is pretty big maybe a 5ft gap and goes into a big berm, they had a pallet in the gap and I believe they are removing it for the race so you need to make the landing or smash! needs average speed. The chicken runs are long, uphill and costly. That wall is dodgey, more worried about the trees at the bottom than the drop itself, again there was alot of gravel put in to make a landing, it will also be ok in the dry.

the pallet is staying in the hole - so worries of you hooking your back wheel, average speed will get you over it - you'd barely even notice it to be honest with you - it's all in the head!
The drop (it's actually a steep slope) is very likely being detoured for the Senior 4/Women 3/U16/U14 riders
I can't wait to see the snaps of Paul Barry going down it with the big look of terror on his face!

Well done to all who raced.

I think fair play to Cuchulainn for butting on a great race...!! They have done a huge amount of work on the course and the difference from last year is huge..!!
The course was great, tough climbs, flowey, sketchy bits.....No hike a bike..!! :) And 300 odd riders.... Well done lads.
Personally i had a much better preformance that the last race, i was able to get in the mix today so im happy with that..! I went into the single track in 3rd, held it for a while but as the climb went on i fell backwards... Still happy enough..!! I think Peter had a really good race, he got away from and i just seen him the odd time after that..!
Great preformance from youn sean in his first NPS, 3rd in S4..! :)
Another good race from Rose taking 2nd in WS2.... And thanks for not catching me today too :P
Great to see so many blue shirts out today...!!

hey Dave - what happened ya?
Thought I saw you after the drop on lap 1 - not sure if you had crashed off it?
not a nice place to crash at all
-
Good race today, took a big spill on the first lap. Bike came of worse :(
Well organised though and the bouncy castle is rapidly becoming a must! Perhaps I should be on it rather than the bike...
Well done Cuchulainn. Huge entry.
-
Ya it was fine on the practice lap....then on the 1st lap a lad just ahead of me was taking the center line so (not giving it enough respect) I decided to take the drop on the left side and didn't pull my front wheel out enough....crash ...bang...Ouch...I choose my line more carefully after that ! But Crash and puncture in lap 3 (thanks to Michelle and Sue for organizing a track pump) aside I was off the pace anyway but happy to be racing on what is the most improved course I have ever ridden......well done Cu Chulainn...there was obviously a savage amount of work done through out the course. The categories worked v well I thought...well done to all who raced and supported .... roll on Cork !
