Rathfarmham Village Festival CX race is back on this year on the 13th Aug. evening.
I havent found anymore info yet but save the date

It'll be A & B Cats and starting about 6pm, Same as last year I reckon!

Actually yes. Not doing the Marathon Champs this year and after the Carrick Enduro I think my season will be finished. Praise the lowrd!

Oh yes, associated XXL cx bike should be landing next week. Nor sure I should be looking forward to this, I've been told to expect a world of pain ???

No I shouldn't. I should be saving my legs for the enduro champs weekend which is what I will be doing it. There'll be plenty more hardship to partake in during the winter

That really hurt tonight, Its always a kick in the teeth hitting that first race of the season. Fantastic support around the lap which really helps when your hurting.
I made a mess of the section in the woods on nearly every lap :o but started to settle in to the rest after about 3 laps. Great event again with amazing weather.
Well done to the Expert Cycles crew.

Really great event and super support around the course as mentioned by davey. Amazing how you can put such a tough course in a little field.
Had a great first lap, prob went off too fast and felt the burn on the 2nd. Was thinking i'd just sit in for a few laps till i got the legs but alas it wasnt to be.... Burped the back on the off camber turn up the grass bank and race over. So much grip there and just leaned in too hard and it popped.
Great event and weather.! Well done to all the club lads and the organizers. :)

All I'll say is I'm hooked, brilliant event and had a great race with Ed neck and neck until he pulled away on the last lap. Looking forward to Daveys Thursday sessions 8)
