General Discussion / Man better known for lurking with a long lens in Enduro participation shocker!!

Next week sees the Bluegrass Enduro Tour visit Ireland and in the hopes of raising a few quid for charity, I've entered the Men's race on the 17th.
Gravity Enduro Ireland are running the event and they say "Gravity Enduro combines the fitness of cross country riding and the technique of downhill racing."
I possess neither!
With that in mind and considering that the event will include cycling approximately 35km off road and racing over 6 special stages taking in three of the best biking venues on the east coast of Ireland, I'd appreciate if you could spare a few euros for the charities I've nominated. I've got some pretty serious competition out on the hill and just to make things interesting, propose to pledge a tenner personally for every position I finish above last in my age category.
I'm in the process of drumming up a few prizes to be raffled off before fundraising finishes, with every donation of a fiver buying a ticket into the draw.
Among the prizes so far are a bike rental at Ballinastoe/Ticknock in co-operation with Biking.ie and a shooting/images package with Action Pictures Ireland. I'll post more info on additional prizes as I get them.
