Great memories from this race over the year...often made a weekend out of it with some of lads. I'll be sitting it out this year with knee injury but recovery going well so plan to be at start line for next year's edition.
Anyone who hasn't raced this and thinking about it my advise is stop thinking and sign up you won't regret it ....a must do race on Irish MTB calender. Thoughts will be with Gerry Mc Cabe this year who added so much to this event over the years.

So any more takers for Saturday?
Still hoping to be there myself
-
I'll be there if everything goes to plan.

I'm planning to go up and back down on Saturday.
It will be a decade since I've race over 2hours, so I am expecting a serious wake up call.

Great day out yesterday for 10th edition of the Thriller.
There was a threat of rain early on but the sun truly shone shortly after.
Myself, Ger, Brian, Matt, and Milos (Someone give this man a jersey) were there from the club.
There were slight changes made to the route which meant the turnstyles we usually encounter early in the race were not used and this just changed everything, the difference not having to queue and deal with those things was fantastic.
There was actually a new bit of single track used and a road section to bypass these; Brilliant decision by organisers really hope its possible to keep this new route going in future.
Thoughts were with the McCabes during race, in memory of Gerry.

Did anyone get lost this year?

Yep, a great day out! Really enjoyed it in a punishing way. Sun shone and scenery is fantastic. I didn't get lost, I thought it was well marked out. When you're not at the front there is always someone to follow! :)

Class day out and much more relaxed than any XC race I've done.
I broke my chain @1km, so spent the rest of the day chasing.
No results yet, but Strava hasinswp my time at 3h38m.
I definitely need to get more long sp
