Tough race today for me, Im way off the pace. Did the super pro and after the first few trails i just went into spin mode. It was an hour and a half before I seen anyone again. The back was playing up with the rough trails and to make matter worse my fork sh1t itself with 10k left and was just banging over every bump.

Still enjoyed the spin and the sketchy drive down through storm and driving rain  :)

met eireann were spto on, the forecast said the rain would clear Ballyhoura aroun 1/1:30pm so we got a dryish race but puddles everywhere

No idea of results but seen chopper, Jay and Milios in the banger category start line  :-*

It was a good day in the office

arrived early and it was pissing down and didn't fancy getting soaked for 2hrs doing the pros so i changed it to baggies
then Jason arrived and signed up in the same  cat,

small warm up and got to the start line - from the off we put the foot down passing most of the people on the first hill i got in the trail first ahead of Jason
and the he over took me on the next fire road - it was kinda back and forth like that for most of the race - passing people along the way so for not saying hello Paul ha ha

jay had a little spill nice over the bars job - but got back on and back and back in full steam again - but i passed him out on the next climb into the next trail and put the power down and broke away from him

up the powered up last kicker and over the line  - just on the hour mark too
about a minute later Jason comes running up the hill due to a dropped chain

I came 8th and Jay came 9th

Brill day and the weather just held of long enough  as paul said loads of puddles everywhere
