Round 1 of the 2016 NPS kicks off in a new venue Union Woods, Co Sligo on the 17th April and is hosted by Northwest MTB Club

Where's videos ? I was s**te anyway haha... applied for wrong class should be s4 somehow I managed to sign s3 ;D then went too fast half way into second lap leg cramped...and that was it. Went for 3rd lap anyways and got it home. Bike is ok. There was some pilup on first turn...think Leo was involved there. Course was tough and technical ... Slade is like walk in park compare to this :D Good experience for me.

Tough day in the office - done the practice lap and we where thinking "ok ... what we getting ourselves into"
Was a very tough course very old school cross country course - i really did enjoyed it, Lap 1 was clean , Lap 2 come off the bike Lap 3 clean enough but getting tired
I tried to get into a rhythm straight away and not to explode to hard at the start and on the fire road where there was foad road climbing i was spinning the legs again trying not to explode(I think this worked in my favor) Legs started to get tired near the end of second lap. a few sections i had to get off and run up to the next flat section and back on the bike cos now power left in the legs
crossing the line for the finish my legs just went all together -

Certainly worth the trip. It was a challenging course, very bumpy with lots of roots, rocks and bumpy downhill sections. Reminded me a bit of Racing 795's course in Bunclody.

Nice one Patrick :) Tough race on sun. The pace off the line was frantic. Managed to keep it together for first 3 laps but last lap was a killer! Great course and well organised race!
