Yea might give that a go alright, both the road climb and the heller climb used to be interval sessions, so well used to that pain.

Its funny how we couldn't get permission to have the NPS there, but they can do that race.

Prob just as well....NPS was turned out too big for the parking there.

They get hill running there all the time, dont get it. But i think normal joes are more affectionate towards runners than people wielding mountain bikes around. IDIOTS!!!!

Sure cruagh has held motorbike trials yet we cant get it for mtb.

Anyone got the oldschool type toe clips  ...the one that Sean Kelly used to use ...looking for some to save time in the transitions...as the race is short no point is messing around for 1 or 2 mins changing shoes so if any has a set tucked away in there garage i`d be interested.

Thanks Paul,
Well organized event....1st run up the face was tough but ok but 2nd climb back toward hellfire club was pure killer (we used ride it in opposite direction) ...not as steep as face but went on and on... came in 34th... was so glad to get on the bike but then i had to push hard to make up time ahead of final run - 11th for cycle pulled me up a lot . Both tranistions went really well (2nd).. thanks to toe clips and putting bike in good position in transition area...Struggled big time on the 2nd run (39th)...walked part of the face and the 2nd accent ...great to get to the top of face on the return as my legs were cabbaged and there was a group behind me catching up big time...managed to hold them off on the downhill run !
Defo do another as long as it doesn't clash with mtb races...speaking of which ..roll on the Cooley Thriller !  :)
