Myself and a few lads are thinking of doing a spin around Carlingford and Cooley area on Sunday if the weather looks anyway good.

Hi

Ye heading out of Carlingford is best, head up to the mast, usually go by the road up, its a long climb, (get it out of the way early), then its mostly open mountain grass trails zig zagin up and down back to Carlingford,  Anyway I will head for Carlingford at 10 on Sunday (I am flexible), will park along the sea front.  4 hours ish! - lots of options, will bring a bit of food etc.

At the moment four of us heading up. Aim to be in Carlingford at 10am just at the seafront opposite the green we can all meet there.
Spin should be about 4-5hrs.
Everyone welcome. my number is 086-2262560. Craig.

Enjoyed the spin around the Carlingford on Sunday even with the weather trying its best to ruin things and me arriving late and missing the lads.
Amazingly we found Greg and Alan just after the masts in the mist and rain.

So the five of us (Myself, Brian, Tom, Alan and Greg) continued on more or less following the route of the Cooley thriller, the weather tried to clear a few times but the mist and rain persisted and by the time we got back to Carlingford the rain was starting to get heavier.

I think we were all glad we made the effort to get out (after we had all dried out!!) :)

Yes thanks for a good Spin, it was pretty closed in but enjoyable non the less, was glad to meet the lads at the Masts, it was totally closed in and dispite being up there every other week I had couldnt find the trail I wanted, luckily the clouds lifted for a few minutes and we were back underway. Thanks again
